INTRO: The Vacuum Pump is a cheap and easy tool to use. Vacuum is just the absense of air. Zero air (full vacuum) is 30 in-Hg. 20 in Hg is 66 percent of air gone. Zero inches of mercury is just normal outside atomospheric pressure.

20 inches of mercury(20 in Hg) at idle is a good vacuum for the 240sx. I use the AIV vacuum hose to take measurement as AIV has been removed.
