I would trust these numbers to be a little more "exact" than what ASC provided.
First, I created a list of possible VINs using infromation found in the S13 microfiche on model production.Second, I entered each VIN into the FAST software to determine model code, production date, exterior color, and interior color.Third, I compiled all data into a spreadsheet and I'm holding it hostage! I will not release it unless you send one million dollars (hold pinky to cheek).
For those that don't know, FAST is the software used at Nissan dealerships around the world to look up part information. You give them your VIN number so they can better find the correct part based on the production date and included options. If you've ever used the microfiche, it's all that information in a database format with clickable pictures and stuff. If anyone has or can get a copy of the Canadian version, I would truly appreciate it. I could then run the rest of the VINs through that version to get a more complete list.
Anyway, on to the information.
FAST found 2338 US VINS for 1992. There are 16 holes.FAST found 4315 US VINS for 1993. There are 485 holes.FAST found 1392 US VINS for 1994. There are 0 holes. The holes are most likely Canadian models.

(color code AH3)281 black with california emissions. (color code KH3)
For 1994:338 white with federal emissions. (color code 326)331 red with federal emissions. (color code AG2)224 red pearl with federal emissions. (color code AH3)265 black with federal emissions. (color code KH3)85 white with california emissions. (color code 326)61 red with california emissions. (color code AG2)42 red pearl with california emissions. (color code AH3)46 black with california emissions. (color code KH3)
Play with the numbers all you want. A registry similar to my 300ZX registries (see signature) will hopefully be online by the end of this weekend.
An interesting find:Only four cars left the factory with AC. These were most likely magazine test cars as they have REALLY low VIN numbers. They were also all white 1992 models with two having federal emissions and two having California emissions. All other convertibles had their AC systems installed at the dealerships.
