I recently had the pleasure to get up close and personal with team Limitless Racing's Audi LMS R8. A friend of mine in the signage industry was granted the job of wrapping the car with its Grand Am graphics. When I heard this beast was going to be 5 minutes from my home I pretty much begged him to let me come up while he was working on it to not only see it in person but also utilize my new DSLR and get him some nice shots for his portfolio. He worked on this thing for close to 48 hours straight without sleep, when he took delivery it was the factory wrapped silver. He designed and installed everything you see. I should note that when I took these pics the install was NOT complete, some things were added and a few removed. I must say, seeing it person (even without the graphics) is amazing. I have never been remotely close to a vehicle of this caliber.

Some press on the car which was unveiled last night at Audi NYC:

And on to a few pics. I cant post any pictures of the interior or engine until I get the green light, which Im waiting for anxiously. I have close to 220 shots of this monster, here are just a few.

Sexy car. I caught a ride in a mostly stock R8 V10 at Summit Point a few weeks ago and was impressed. I can imagine a caged race car version would be insanely nice. :dblthumb:

^Oracal, 3M, and a blow torch only in this garage. Guy does excellent work, a few accent pieces on my own car as well.

Seriously just being in the garage with this thing is breath taking. You cant NOT look at it constantly. Wasnt lucky enough to hear them fire it in person. I did see a video, and all I heard was static because it raped the camera's microphone.

I dont think Im going to get clearance to post interior and engine shots. But here are a few more pics of the exterior on my FB. If you cant see them friend me.

Found a video of Limitless testing last month in VA. Obviously you need the volume up for this one:

^I cant even imagine. The vid I posted a few clicks up is even intense from probably 100' away. My friend who did the wrap is going to be in the pit with them on Sunday. If I wasnt going to Carlisle Id be begging for a +1 on that for sure.
