I am trying to install a pair of 6 OHM resistors for some led turn signals in the rear, for a 2009 sedan 1.8s. I'm not sure which wire to install the resistors on. I've included a picture of the wires below. Thanks for the help

You will need a circuit tester to confirm this. In the body harness leading to the brown connector. For turn signals, Violet on the left side, White on the right side is positive. Black is ground on both sides. Splice your resistor between positive and ground.

CAUTION !!! Test this before you cut any wires.

If you would prefer to splice into the short black extension harness. Note there are 2 grounds and 1 positive wire to the turn and backup sockets. You'll need to determine which is which. I connected my resistor to both of the ground wires. This short harness can be unpluged and removed so that you can work on a bench. It's easier that way.
