turbo without ECU

is it possible to run turbo without a JWT, etc ECU? maybe on 7psi

Only if your not using your head, i.e. your stupid, and given the fact you really want to blow up your engine.

Rick, I am running 6.5 PSI with no JWT ECU and DavEEE is running 9 PSI with no JWT ECU. Both of us run a FMU with no problems. So are Dave and I stupid?

Ty Yap has done xxx rwhp w/ stock pistons/rods.

(one sec, checking my numbers :D)

Ok, I obviously misunderstood the question, I thought that they were asking if theyr could basically run turbo on a computer thats setup for NA.

i am running my car on a NA ECU, with the SDS extra injector controller..up to 12psi...no probs yet

what will go first with increased psi? the stock rod or piston? has any1 ever found out the hard way?

I only have a FMU and SAFC 8psi and she runs great, no jerking she is tuned in pretty good for my own gestimation, also with silvia injectors for extra fuel...
