transfer case measurements

does anyone have one laying around you can measure for me? id like to know the distance between the input and front output shafts. and if its not to much to ask the input spline count/size. any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's about 12in from what I remember. How accurate do you need the measurement? I should be able to dig mine out to measure this week.

about as accurate as you can get, without causing you to much trouble. im in the process of mounting a t56 to a vk56 and want to find out if the t-case front drive shaft will clear the bellhousing. and thanks alot for the reply, 12 in. gives me an idea.

I have an r32 tarnsfer case sitting out at the moment. What exact dimension do you want?
Center line offset for the front drive shaft?

I have some pics now.

I just can not attach them.
Does anyone know how the Img buttonworks ?

To keep things moving in the mean time the centre to centre is 7 1/4"

You have to host the pictures somewhere like, photobucket or imageshack.us.

Once you upload them, you need to view the picture, right click, select "Copy Image URL", then come back to your post, click the IMG tags, then "control V" to put the code between the img tags. Click preview and you should see your picture.
