Traded it in. ... .

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

As my family is growing the EX35 unfortunately isn't all that family friendly, so I decided to trade it in for the new JX35.

With that, I see that there are a few people from the ottawa ontario area on this board, I have a set of winter tires and rims (17" Michelin) for sale if anyone is in need of new tires. They have 1.5 seasons on them. Maybe 10,000kms....

Wish everyone all the best

Thanks for joining us... and good luck with your JX35.

I've seen lots of JX35s around town... sharp looking unit.

Post your Tires/Rims in the Classifieds.

If my kids weren't grown up and out of the nest I to would be looking at the JX. Nice looking vehicle with lots of room.

So far so good. Surprisingly a decent drive, nothing like the EX35 power but it is probably best that I don't have that power with the kids in the car. I would have to say though the quality from one infiniti to the next is impressive. Well built vehicles!

I see a black one with black wheels around my area often. It looks real nice!

I kept the EX bought the JX.

Driving experiences aren't comparable, but family wise EX was completely inadequate. At least for young children. Still my commuter and preferred car to drive along though.

JX for the family so far has been superb. Functionally, comfort, gadgets really really happy. I love the look too, at least IMHO.

Only thing I've found against he JX is the mileage. Considering its not real fast, CVT transmission, and FWD I guess I would've expected a little better. The drivers side door is also a little uneven, but I don't think anyone has noted this except myself. Not sure if its something I can bring up to the dealer--assume they will pin it on me? Only about a month old.

Show the out-of-alignment door to the dealer.
There should be some alignment capability in there.

And congrats on the JX. :mike

The "FWD" biased all-wheel drive system kinda' turns me off of the JX, personally. I think the ATTESA system found in the EX's and G's is a phenomenal one since it's RWD-biased, giving you true sports car handling with RWD in the corners , but when it's slippery, you get the benefits of varying degrees of power being shifted to the front.

Do you still have those 17" winter tires and rims kicking around? I am interested depending on $$. Thanks,
