My 06 qx has the tpms warning light on. All four tires have air, around 35-40 psi. It's cold here in Toronto , but that doesn't explain why only 3 tires are registering when I chec the tire pressure readings on the qx56 screen.

Any ideas? Is there a way I could reset it? I hate to take to a dealer....I'm out of warranty I think. Thx for ant suggestions

is it blinking or on steady?

Blinking = sensor not reading correctly, steady means pressure is reading low.

it's steady, but when i check the tire reading screen, 1 tire is not showing a reading at all ...it shows "--". but the pressure is fine for all 4, and in the past, if one was low, it would show the low reading anyways.

one of the sensors must be dfective or loose or something...any quick fixes?

My guess is that the sensor is not reading correctly, or is defective. No quick fix other than replace it in my opinion.
