I was just wondering.. is it the Ball joints that get thrown off when you crank the T bars to lift the D21? Also is there anyway i can correct the BJ's Angles and what else gets thrown off?

I think you can get about 3 inches of lift without binding the ball joints by just cranking the torsion bars. You can also re-index them, (torsion bars).

so... reindexing... all that is, is just reseting the adjuster arms to a normal position but still obtaining lift via adjusting spline? and is taht all it does?

...and Bingo was his name-o!

IDK if yours have splined, or hexagonal style bars, but its the same principle applies for both of them.

About 1.5" over stock is the most the upper control arms can take if you expect them to last very long. After market upper control arms (the 3" lift you see for sale on several sites) are a tick longer and provide a better mounting angle for the upper balljoints.

In some cases you'll run out of adjustment on the Tbars before you get the desired height. That's where reindexing comes in. Typcially you only need to rotate them by about two splines to keep the adjustors from hanging down where they're succeptible to trail damage.

All Nissans use splined Tbars. the Hex ones are what you'll find on Chevys, etc.

I wonder if you can shim the upper ball joints to compensate the angle, but this is all in my head. Also, cant the upper control arms be modified, (aka cut and welded with more steel to lengthen). Desert Rat would know...

IDK if the balljoint spacers would be enough because they don't actually make the control arm longer. Maybe the balljoint angle would be taken care of, but what about the wheel alignment? This could change dramatically under articulation, so maybe balljoint spacers aren't the real solution. I said snake oil because companies are gonna sell s*** whether its the best solution or not.

ahh ok. I think it can be a solution. The Spacers lift 1" at the wheel. that way i dont have to crank the T bars as much to achieve the 3in... i can get the 1.5 via Tbar and 1 from the spacer... and settle for the 2.5 =)
