Hi all, have a 2003 G35 coupe with auto tranny. Putting the engine back in and the manual says I need .98 inch between the tranny case surface and the converter bosses where the flexplate attaches. I measured the distance from the engine bell housing and how far out the flexplate is and get .9 inches. So that seems correct. Problem is when I put the torque converter in and measure the distance from the tranny case and the bolt bosses I get only about .6 inches. This would cause binding. Can't figure out where I;m going wrong. Any advice ?
