Well... I do like challenges. These were a bit weird but they were looking to have mostly fun. I sure wish I had a chance to race the radio controlled car through the cones.

Holeshot by Mike Finnagen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dfq1CDR6qQ4 They must have ran and filmed the race about 25 times from every angle. He consistently beat everybody, every time. He had a great understanding about managing the boost and never missed a shift. Good driver in my opinion.

Cool bunch from Motortrend.

Most favorite time was in the Nissan truck. That thing was crazy fast. The owner George took me for a ride in it after we were done filming. I also got to ride in the GTR with Mike Sambounchi in the GTR. I've been in a 10 second drag car before but this thing was so smooth and just kept accelerating. I would think 200 MPH would be just several seconds more. We ran out of runway quickly.

Truck run https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIffgxXjKH0 You can see us get to end of runway and exit to the desert on the right. 100 MPH over the desert is an eye opening experience. This truck was a Nissan built and sponsored racer that had a bad history of mechanical failures. It was purchased and converted to 2 wheel drive by it's present owner George.

I love how it seems every time Motor Trend needs a classic Z, the call Gordon.

I couldn't believe how well Mike launched your Z, and how long it took the GTR to catch up. How long of a drag was it? It seemed longer than a quarter mile.

It was less than 1/4 mile by a few 100 ft or so. I usually get into 4th gear during 1/4 mile. 3rd gear tops at 100 MPH (8200 RPM) and Mike was right there as he crossed the line.

Did you get to see the Rotsun up close Gordon? That thing is a wonderful machine isn't it?

I was stoked when I saw Finnegan post a pic of your car on Instagram. It was cool to see them use a car I actually recognized.
