We have noticed that there are many members on NICOclub who have purchased and installed our C-mod grilles on their Altima 08-09 Coupe. We have seen many topics about our grilles, some with very nice pictures posted, our grilles do make the Coupe look more sporty and aggressive. We appreciate your supports.

However we also noticed that there are many questions about how to install the grilles and what the options are to make your cars look great with the grilles, but we were not a registered vendor before and we could not reply on this forum.

So we are here as a new vendor because we see how popular and demanding of our products are, and as a registered member, we can give you better customer service on this forum too. Let's get on with it.

Installation:
This is actually one of the easiest grilles to install out of all our aftermarket grilles. To properly install it, it is very simple, remove the front bumper and remove the stock grille, on our grille you only need to drill 2 small holes on the left and right L-shape mounting brackets on the top, you will see the marks there, use 2 sets of bolts or screws to attach them through the rectangular stock holes on the front bumper, you can adjust and customize the fitment by moving the grille until it fits right. As for the bottom part, it has extra mounting tabs that you can snap into place on the front bumper, it is optional to further secure it with strong double sided tape, thin wire zipties or glue.

Do not use the L-shape mounting brackets on the top as some sort of hooks to force them into the rectangular stock holes, it will make the top of the grille uneven or sagging and not flush when aligns with the front bumper or you will break them. In fact, this is one of the most common but minor complaints from the customers because the grilles were installed improbably.

Painting:
It is recommended to have the grille painted to match the body color, it looks way better to blend in with the car. You should remove the metal mesh from the clips to adjust the fitment and also for painting the grille frame. You can use spray paint, but it is highly recommended to have it professional painted at the local body shop, fiberglass parts are known to look solid when primed and painted.

Radiator:
It is optional to spray paint the radiator black to make it less visible, be sure to use the paint that is heat resistant.

Support Bar:
It is optional to paint the support bar black to hide it or remove it completely, keep it if some of you may be afraid to do any major modifications on the stock car.

"Nissan" Emblem
If the badgeless style grille looks too empty for you, you can remove the OEM "Nissan" emblem from the stock grille and attach it to the mesh using strong glue or heat gun. Be creative, you can even use any of those JDM emblems which you can screw onto it, whatever you may prefer.

Are we missing any details?

Please post links of other topics with related subjects and merge them into this thread. it would be easier for everyone especially the newbies that do not use button to look for info.

We hope you guys find it helpful, if you have more questions, you can send us a private message.

P.S. Someone may want to make this a sticky.

As long as your grille fits and it looks good, it should be fine, but we will post some pictures later.

You can see all the mounting brackets and tabs on the back of the grille.

L-shape mounting tab.

Drill a small hole on each mounting tab to install.

Image
Use a set of small bolt and nut to attach the L-shape mounting tab to the hole on the front bumper on each side, left and right, the rest of the mounting tabs will snap in and secure the grille to the front bumper.
