We've already decided that next year, we'll have the entire transporter full, and will likely rent two trucks - One of our stuff and another for the rest of the Phoenix people heading for JCCS.

Time to get crackin' on our 510 and our NL320!

I just talked to the shipping company that hooked us up.

They said next year, they will do that trip for $225 per car. SCORE!!!!

Awesome! Did you find out if the driver(s) take private contracts vs going through a shipping company?

Yep - We'll go direct to the owner of the company. He's cool as can be, and had already seen this thread. :)

Greg if you buy this I will gladly drive it to AZ for you... Just sayin' it's all of 30 minutes away from me.
Wouldn't make it to AZ. Race motors are not designed for anything beyond a 20 hr lifespan, and if you make it to all 20 hrs of it and it still makes decent power, consider yourself lucky. The fuel would also cost you a fortune...

Would love to have it, but I can guarantee you it'd be bored.

The engine would come out and be prominently displayed in our living room, and an immaculately-restored L28 would take its place so we could drive it to events and around town.

That car needs to be returned to service on a track.
