yeah I did all the work. I pulled all of the AC stuff out, I think that is the major reason it looks so clean. My last car I left all the AC stuff in, thinking one day I might hook up the AC, and it looked so cluttered in the engine bay. With the condensor and all of the lines gone it looks so much nicer. Plus I have less of a need for AC with the convertible.

Thanks! - it was suppose to be black cherry :( Thats what I get for bringing it to Schaeb and picking the color based on their sample. It turned out nice though. I especially like the fact that it doesn't show the dirt. The car in the picture is very dirty (must get a better picture when the vert is clean)

The engine is actually a blacktop, not a redtop... but the first coat of paint is on the valvecover anyway, so it doesn't really matter. I wasn't going to put this pic up yet because there are still some things that need to be cleaned up (wiring, ic piping, radiator, etc) but I guess you can have the "before" photo. :)

Has HKS SSQV BOV in the photo, but the Apex'i intake and JIC strut tower bar are not in the photo yet.

Those wheels are 350Z wheels... they fit absolutely perfectly and look larger than 17". I have 255s in the rear and they are nice and flush with the rear fender.

I found the wheels locally on eBay and picked them up for $250 without tires.... brand new condition. Used tires cost me $100 for the set (255s in back) and I was on the road.

Those 350Z wheels somehow make the car look vaguely jaguaresque as in XK8 convertible..Looks sharp and expensive and freshens the look of the car too!

Fred..:)
