Craziness!
I am looking out the window at my Z's right now and instead of clear and actually quite warm outside, imagining 3 freaking feet of snow... :ohno:

 So what do you guys do when your DD is buried in the snow but you need to drive it some where? Do you have to just wait until the snow melts? Or do you just have to very carefully shovel the snow away to avoid nicking the paint?

Are there like tons of privately owned businesses that you can hire to plow your driveway and parking lot etc - as an alternative to waiting on the government?

For driveways and parking lots there is but i believe the Gov. are the only ones who can do the roads, unless you have a specific plow.

O the love/hate relationship mother nature has with us.

Ahh I gotcha, makes sense. So is the Gov pretty quick about getting the roads cleared or do they drag a** like they do for everything else?

They prioritize. The main roads will be salted before the snow even hits. When it accumulates, the most commonly traveled roads (interstates) will be the first with plows and salt. After that, they'll move on to state roads, then county, then neighborhoods.

That's one of the few times when I could see owning a lifted Jeep with 30+ inch tires.

Yeah if your DD is stuck you have to brush the snow off, when theres alot YOU NEEDA CAREFULLY SHOVEL OFF MOST OF IT, then use a soft bursh <3 so you dont hurt you baby.

Yeah right. I'd dig around the base, then brush all the snow off with my hand, and then let the car melt the majority, since I won't be driving a TT till it's warmed up.

AWD + Snow tires = Like a baaaaaaawwwwcccceeeee

That's a total of 9' of snow drifts. I have a guy plow the driveway, but then I had to dig out the wife's area to get her Jeep out of the garage.
