I've been searching and searching like crazy to figure out what flange is on my hks 2530 turbos. First, I asked if they fit an rb20det. Some said yes, some said no. Then I found out the rb26dett is a t25 flange and the rb20det is t3. Then I searched some more and found out that these turbos came with 2 options, t3 or t25 flange. I guess i could try to measure but I wanted to get some of your opinions.

Looks like a T3 flange to me. If it's around 4in or so long then it should be T3. a T25 flange will be a bit smaller than that size.

just measured. looks like it may be a t25. about 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches. amirite? if it is confirmed by others that its a t25, what are my options on bolting on this turbo? t25 to t3 adapter? turbo manifold with t25 flange? or might as well look for a turbo with a t3 flange?

Yeah, that is a T25/T28 flange.
Easiest, most reliable route would be to get a turbocharger with a T3 flange, or buy a T3 turbine housing for that turbo (as they are pretty popular and some have housings suited for RB20/RB25).
If you can find a T25-T3 adapter, you'd have to make sure everything still lines up underhood, as they usually put the turbo some distance from the original mounting point on the manifold.
I don't know if you'd find a T28 flanged manifold for an RB20...I think that might help it run out of steam quicker due to the smaller size for air to go through.
