swapping motors o4 g35 base to rev up 05
the motor in my 04 blew last week so i pulled motor an transmission yesterday got another motor today but it is to an o5 6 speed an it is the rev up motor where mine is just the base 04 auto.. main question is will the o5 rev up motor work in my o4 due to the o5 having the variable cam gears an the 04 doesnt everything else i can see is the same.. thanks for any answers and or comments.

Are the wiring Harness's the same?

You could if you had the motor + harness. I'm sure the ECU would need to be replaced as well.
Just get another '04 motor and save yourself a bunch of headache.
