Suspension question for the Q50 owners from an M56x owner...

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Hey guys,

Question for ya'll. I'm going to be getting coilovers in the next few months and am doing my research. I've earmarked BC Racing coilovers so far (had them on my old 2007 M35x) but came across another company called RS*R. According to this post on another forum, the OP (who says he's an Infiniti tech), says the suspension between a Q50 and Y51 M is identical.

Can anyone confirm?

Here is the thread with the OP: http://www.infinitiq50.org/forum/q50-pa ... overs.html

Here is the coilover kit: http://www.rs-r.com/product/infiniti-q5 ... vers-2014/

Further Google'ing by another member in the Y51 forum has yielded another possible RSR kit called the "Luxury Best i" series. Anyone heard of such a series? It's not on their website.

Here is a link to a Japanese auction for such a kit: http://frontend-http-elb-979410592.ap-n ... v420788295

The suspension is very similar, can't confirm as "identical". The weight of the M would require a bit stiffer spring rate.
