Its becuase you said there was an infinity there. But no one saw any - something without limits: limitless time, space, or distance- something too great to count: an amount or number so great that it cannot be counted- state of being infinite: the state or quality of being infinite

Instead they saw an Infiniti G35coupe behind the Ultima and Ferrari

I drove Eleanor once (maybe twice). what he forgot is you may have meant Infinity - limitless possibilities. Maybe Infiniti simply missspellled their own name.
