Hi-2004 G35X Cat has died. My mechanic states that all of the aftermarket ones wear out quickly. He only recommends the oem cats. Does anyone have a different opinion? Do I need 2 cats (left and right)? A performance boost would be ok but not a requirement. If the oem is the best way to go any chance of buying good used? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

For the price of the OEM cats, you could buy 3x as many after-market. Berk HFC is a good alternative, but with any after-market setup, you may run throw a check engine light. We carry the HFC's if you are interested.

The Invidia HFC's you sold me have never caused a check engine light. :)

Those slipped my mind, normally only sell those to the G37/370z folks, but they are available for G35/350z....
