HAHAHA EXACTLY! but other than that yeah its pretty simple its pretty much just joining the two sides of the metals together like this! http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/t...d.jpg

bust out some practice metal first, from what I observed from the picture there is no tieing in the sides (no side to side motion) almost a globular weld, basically shorten then lenthen your arc thus varying your current and heat. run downward in a constant speed moving up and down to and from the weld surface. Try running lower current to begin with to avoid under cut and burning through. Fender type material my guess with a hard wire, non flux, small dia wire (all assuming) around volt: 4 speed: 28ish? anyone confirm, i understand almost all are different. again nonetheless try on similar gauge metal and work until you have the right parameters and technique.

I remember learning how to stitch weld in my high school welding class. Just remember to take your time on your final bead so it comes out looking straight (unless you're going to just grind it down). Thin metal should call for lower heat but definitely do the test material to make sure you're getting proper penetration.

What is it exactly that you want to stitch? I weld sheet metal daily. The only advice i can give is move quick. Or just zap it . once you find the right heat and wire speed.

Is it better to stick weld it, or weld a solid bead?

Way to go f*ck stick. You asked, people answered. Their answers are basic due to the fact of they know nothing of your welding experience, however your comment was a good way to inform them.... or not.

Basically all you need to do is tack weld the seams every 4-6inches or so. I guess you already knew that too.

Pound sand douche bag.
