Stillen Lip Kit Modification

So my car is in the body shop getting fixed and having the Stillen Lip Kit put on. I call today and they say it will be ready by tomorrow but they had to modify the kit a little because it didn't quite fit properly. I'm wondering if this is a normal thing to have to modify it a bit? Although I guess I won't know the extent of the modification until I see it.

mine fit like a glove. i would call them and check what exactly they are doing. make sure they dont butcher it up

the side skirts dont always fit perfectly and can use a little sanding on the inside.

Yeah, they told me that I have to wait till Monday to get it. Had some issues with something else they were doing with my car, unrelated but the guy said they have it looking pretty slick now so hopefully it's good.

wheres those pictures at? i was thinking about getting the lip kit also. would it look weird with only the lip and no side skirts or any other body mods?
andd is the installion like too hard to DIY? is that why you're having a shop do it?
