Hey guys, thought I would let my peeps know that I asked the NICO managers to step down as a moderator. I don't get online as much as I'd like and honestly, my G37 was 2 cars ago.

I'll still pop in every now and then to say hi.

ohh....I also sold my Challenger for a new Durango R/T. Was getting crazy to deal with 2 kids and a sports car...

Here she is:

Show some more pics of that bad girl. Love the color.

My G was 2 cars ago too. That doesn't mean that we can't all still keep in touch.

Awesome! Way more room, heated/vent seats, adaptive cruise, V8 that actually sounds pretty good (I put a CAI on it too). It also has a surprisingly good stereo with decent bass from an alpine sub.

Eventually I'll trade in the wife's SUV and get something sporty...but for now this is the family hauler.

Understood.

Still trying to get used to the Q as it's bigger and I can't get the seating position quite where I like it in comparison to the G. With the G wheels the car handles far better tho.

I'm way late to this party, but wanted to thank joe603 for his service here. I think he gave me my "Welcome to NICO".

I need to hang around here a bit more. My normal replacement interval would have been February of this year, but I'm not willing to pay the price for a Q50 with the same drive train as my G. I'm retiring in June, and have already cut back to half-time schedule on telecommute, so the '11 should last a pretty good while.

I didn't want to pay a huge amount for a Q either (I'm a cheap bastard) and was lucky enough to find a demo with 8k miles. I was able to pick it up for appx the same price I paid for my G coupe and still got over 10k for the G35 trade-in. I have no issue with getting a used low-mile Intiniti (even though though this one had never been titled since it was a demo).

I won't replace the coupe until this Q is paid off in a year or two.

That's not being a "cheap bastard", that's being an astute judge of good value. A cheap bastard would drive a car he didn't like because he wanted to spend less money.

lol...probably

I just have a hard time convincing myself to pay the "up charge". That's why I'm still driving the coupe as the only replacement I've found is the CTS-V and I was not ready to step into one since it's being replaced. Does save on $$.

Be careful with the CTS-V's...they're pretty thirsty! Lexus has a new 460HP coupe, the RC-F that looks pretty sweet. Still want a GT-R though...

I really don't like the Lexus.....CTS-V's are like 16hwy but I've been driving the Q sedan lately so it would pretty much be a weekend/2nd car.
