I own a 2006 Infiniti G35x Sedan. When I'm driving on the highway about say 100km and I apply the brakes the car starts to shake. I have changed the brake pump and my rotors are all fine. I have heard that it could be my calipers from sticking but I'm not sure.

Your rotors are probably NOT ok.
Get a second opinion, or just have them resurfaced with a quality on-car lathe.
A caliper may be sticking and overheated a rotor, but there are usually other symptoms such as pulling or uneven pad wear.
After driving a distance you can often touch the wheels and feel one hotter than the others if a caliper is dragging.
Good luck.

ezb is correct. Rotor warpage seems to happen more to some than others. My wife is heavy on the brakes and needs them turned on her car much more than I do on mine.

I have the same exact issue with my G35 sedan. Especially at highway speeds, the shake is pretty nasty when coming to a stop.
I do not want to turn the rotors. I want to purchase OEM rotors.
Can someone point me in the right direction for OEM suppliers that are forum friendly and don't charge a$$ much as the local Infiniti dealer?
Thanks.

I would avoid OEM and purchase Brembo blanks or StopTech.

Thanks Aud,
But then I would have to purchase Brembo calipers? I'm really trying to stay stock: no mods.
Thanks.

No, they sell rotors that fit your size.

I suggest you find and order the best rotors and pads you can NOW.

I was going to go that route when one of my calipers blew, and I was stranded...at the mercy of the dealer. Re-rotored and new pads and shake went away. I had 94,000 on G37X. If I had ordered them first, I could have swapped em out at my leisure!

Keep in mind, when it comes to brakes, you want them to work, always.

Had someone worked on your brake system prior to this happening? I ask because one way a rotor becomes warped is that your lug nuts get over torqued. There are still plenty of mechanics that just put the tires back on with an air impact gun, which over tightens the bolts and warps the rotors.

hey I had the same issue with a g-35 I use to work for a auto supply company when I was in high school in the 80's
and I use to cut all the rotors and drums I would cut all new ones right out of the box (to true them)[ They are never the way they should be
even if you just bump them around it will throw them out I am a Operating Engineer and do all my own work so I put a dial indicator to check the run-out and the both rear rotors were out about .012 when both of them on the same end front or rear the proportional valve isolates' the front brakes from the rear so if one side will transfer the pulse from left to right so I had a local auto shop Napa cut them for me I stood by as the guy did it and took them from his hand as they came off the lath put them on with new brakes took it for a ride no more vibration. Also a small note I was little hard on the new brakes I like to get them hot then let them cool over night I find that it helps with the ware and noise a lot :)

I much prefer to torque the lug nuts by hand with a torque wrench. failing that, a torque stick is a must. NEVER put the wheels on with an impact wrench.

^^^even the dealer will use an impact wrench. Went to work on my coupe once and a rear lug was torqued to over 125 ftlbs. Actually ruined the acorn nut.
