squeaking noise when turn off engine

Anyone know what would cause this squeaking noise from the front of the car (2008 EX35) after I turn the engine off:

(Those are mp3 files of the sound that I recorded, standing outside next to the front of the car. The second one is with the engine running for a little bit at the beginning; I think I can hear some squeaking then too; and then I turned the engine off and the squeaking is very noticeable.)

I hear this pretty much every day, but I think it only happens when the engine is cold, so I don't hear it more than once or twice a day. The usual scenario is that I drive about 3 minutes to work, turn off the engine, open the door, and hear the squeaking noise for a couple seconds. If I drive for a longer period of time, or after multiple short trips, I don't hear the noise. If I don't drive the car for a few hours, and then drive another short trip, I'll probably hear the noise.

I think I was also able to reproduce the noise when I turned off the climate control, with the engine still running.

The dealer so far hasn't been able to reproduce the noise (even when I left it overnight so they could try it with a cold engine).

Mmmm... the fact that the sound goes on for a few more seconds after you shut the Engine off... tells me it's something that needs a little time to wind down... one thing that comes to mind is the Radiator Fan.

It's just a non-Mechanic guess.

An update on this: the dealer fixed it (under warranty) by replacing the radiator fan assembly, part 21481-JK600
