Does anybody have experience with one of these companies; good or bad ???

I just started tuning and going to shows --- won one and got the fever. When I spoke to either site, they just tried to get a fee out of me... I'm a Account Exec and have been in sales for years and recognized when someone is trying to create urgency and close.... I'm not being sold.!!!

Please share your info.. Sponsership dollars are great, but I'm not gonna pay for the idea of sponsership without seeing benifit.

Anything you guys can add will be greatly appreciated.. I pimper my own ride --- now I want to help sponsers spend their marketing dollars in the right direction.. Yeah, I sell ad space....

Thanx, LOL --- Windshield is still there.....Just got a great deal on those instead of visors & headrests... Plus, I'm the only one I've seen with that A/v set-up....

Yeah so, they called me again last night.. After having told me that the window would be closed for the year on my initial refusal... They again tried selling me the benifit and used the money-back garauntee as the hook this time... Sounded real pissed when I said, let the fire catch on and I may be interested then. Not saying I'm sure they don't work but being a sales Exec myself, I don't like pressure tactics and finance my own ****. That being said, I don't need some kid calling me telling me there is no fee and 100.oo dollars would be the cost of getting the writers to put togewther a proposal. Told him I'm an Ad Exec and contact the Marketing person and submit my own proposal is they give me the contact...

Long story short, if it looks a duck, walks like a duck and sound s like a duck --- they're probably a duck...

Perhaps you should have left your comment as a one liner.

You're more than entitled to do what you like to your car and what makes you happy. You put up pictures for everyone to see. Comments are inevitable and me being polite about it and biting my tongue was as tactful as I could handle. Enjoy your car

Hi Guys, I'm new, my 1st post right here.

But I've known a few guys dumb enough to fall for that. There's a small section for one them where they claim they have the right to take your car if you don't meet their standards(go to a certain amount of shows, mods, decals, etc). I think it's false advertising to say no fees and require $100 to get a proposal....isn't that a fee in itself?

I plan on getting a Versa in the next few months, just thought I'd join up now and get advice onthem before I do.

Keep that extra nonsense to yourself. The thread wasn't about what "you" think of anyone's ride. Stick to the topic and stop acting like your in freegin' grade school...
Fine, he has tact, I don't. You riced out the inside of your Versa. Next you'll prolly rice out the outside as soon as they make a horrendous body kit for it. You're another hatchback with lcd screens and subs. Good luck getting sponsored with that thing. Nice midlife crisis mobile. BTW, way to ruin your fuel economy and acceleration with those massive chrome rims. I bet that gets a lot of looks at the HIGH SCHOOL.

So, if anyone ever gets a dime from these sites, please share...For now, I'm gonna keep my 100.oo for my own purchases as oppossed to throwing it in the wind. (Trying to get back on topic)

To every and anyone who wasted their time reading the extra nonsense going on during this thread, my apologies for my participation...
