After a ton of setbacks, we finally got the car back together and tuned with Uprev's new tuning suite. I'll post some pics up here shortly and get a mod list together for folks who may no be familiar with the build.

I landed a sweet deal on a used VIS Racing Evo style carbon fiber hood for the car last week. It took a little work to get it mounted as I had to remove the latch assembly to clear the radiator that has been pushed up 2" to clear Big J's custom 3" downpipe, but all in all it went pretty smoothly. The $100 price tag didn't hurt either! I have retained the hood spacers that were previously installed on the factory hood, and created a better seal against the leading edge of the upper tank on the radiator, so under hood temps have taken a noticeable 20 degree drop. The Garret GT3071R charger and Treadstone manifold location puts it perfectly under the primary hood vent as well.

We may be adding a set of 18" wheels to the works. If it happens, look for a full writeup in the mag, as well as some new rubber and complete tire test. At our current 13.8 boost levels, the 225/45/17 Bridgestone RE01R's have slowly been vaporize from first and second wheel spin. We really need to get our gear dependent boost controller working properly, lol! Since the old rubber has to be replaced, we decided that it was a good time to move up to a larger wheel/tire combo to see how handling/performance etc. is changed for better or worse.
