Holy crap thats awesome!! People have been talking about that forever now.

Now we need somebody to do an engine swap like 2.5 to 3.5!

well, people usually do it the other way around lol :gapteeth:

Very nice work! Any idea how much it cost to do that? Front panels (fenders), hood, grille, bumper, headlights..

2010+ do have a great looking front fascia (08 and 09's fascia is horrible), and 08 and 09 grille vs. 2010+ is no contest; paint the chrome on the 2010+ to color match car's exterior and you have a great looking grille. Headlights; and no offense to the one's here with the 2010+ but the headlights is what would keep me from ever wanting to do this conversion. Not that the 08's and the 09's have great looking headlight (although they do have potential), but at least our 08 and 09 headlights don't have a set of boobs. I think the 08 and 09 hood vs. 2010 hood is a draw; I give a slight edge to the 08 and 09 hood, but the headlights give me mixed fillings about this conversion.

The G's have a hump on the head lights too; they look to be a subtle A-cup where the Altima Coupe's are D's, and I'm more of a legs and butt man myself.

Bama you went off track there for a sec lol. I dunno, I like the 2010 headlights even with that hump. It's way more aggressive than the stock 08-09 heads. And the hump is not that obvious lol

I agree with most of what Bama said, but with a little work the 2010 headlights can look awesome. I used to not like the hump either, but the 2008 headlights are just boring and plain.

I like the bumped headlights too... I think I might have to swap my front end out on my 09 to the 10 .

What a strange way to spend lots of money.

I prefer the 08-09 fascia. It was a simpler time, before Nissan went bulge-crazy with every model.

I have a 2008 coupe and got into an accident and I took it to nissan to get repaired being curious I asked the adjuster how much would the different be to switch to a 2010 fascia and he said it wasn't much of one. So I got it covered by the insurance company but its definitely possible. If I'm not mistaken because this was awhile back I think it cost alil under 2k for oem refurbished parts I'm sure aftermarket will be cheaper.

Depending on how you shop for the parts and paint it's definitely possible to do it cheap. I recently got into a minor accident and instead of going thru my insurance I just bought the parts on eBay. Got the front bumper for 110 shipped, driver side fender for 150 shipped, new headlights for 170 and paint done for 300.

so far its great! its made out of strong plastic and after it was painted it came out good. love it so far. my car is a sedan so prices may vary with the altima coupe

**EDIT**

now that i closely look at the pictures above, my front bumper looked exactly in that color and my fender looked like the color of the hood before it was painted

JMO, but unless you have a lot of other mods installed, wouldn't it be easier and possibly cheaper just to trade up to a 2010.

What fun would that be? Easier yes; cheaper probably not.

Plus some people get attached to their own rides !

You can buy entire parts cars for like 1200-1500 so this wouldn't necessarily be thousands and thousands...

I could ask him how much this whole thing cost. But I'm pretty sure he went with ebay parts so I don't think it cost him that much. And you people make switching cars sound so easy lol..
