EFI Live Tuner with software and all licenses and current tune.

While I was at the drag strip, two cars from the tree, I hear the tick from the engine echoing off the garage like building next to me, I got it towed home and then later to the local speed shop. Collapsed lifter... damn, 700 miles into the car (I drove it home from Alabama). Problems with a car of this caliber is expected, but I wasn't expecting them so soon, lol. The guy at the shop is modifying a few things and throwing on the dyno for a tune, I should have it back this weekend!

Thanks guys! And I like the pinstripe, I think it's subtle.
It is loud and raspy, but that's okay, because it still rides smooth and is quiet with the windows up. The first owner built it wanting to keep the Cadillac luxuries in mind. My GF slept better in it than in the rental Ford Taurus on the way there. There is added sound deadening material on the floor, you hear a little gear whine and get some shake from the engine, but otherwise it's stock like. Here is a cruising video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ClDECw4kHY

The radio is actually at a very low volume because my GF is sleeping.

Son I have never been more proud of you in all my life... that is how you do it!!

Whats it run in the 1/4?

Broken parts are weakness working its way out of the system.... now you can upgrade to a higher lift lifter

THIS is what caused the failure.. I didn't see lifters on your build sheet if they are stock the guy who assembled the engine deserves to eat them.

Nice ride. A friend was trying to sell me his supercharged CTS-V. A little out of my price range. The ones I could afford were junk. How much did that one set you back?

I was two cars from the tree when I noticed the noise, I haven't run it yet. The seller tells me it ran 11.3 with the stock motor, he said up until about a year ago it was the fastest 1st gen. I don't have plans to put drag slicks on it though, so I'll be lucky to break into the 12s I think. I'll find out soon, I bought a season pass to the track!
The shop that replaced the lifter told me that the stockers are good, and that it's odd that it collapsed. I told him I have no problem replacing/upgrading if needed. I have heard nothing but good things about his shop, they specialize in late model GM autos. Late Model Throttle is the name, and the "O" in throttle is that of a GM 6spd shift pattern.

I can't say what I paid, but I do get bored and do have a lot of debt, I was thinking rock it for the summer and sell it in the fall, I'll let ya'll know.

A little update: The couple things that needed to modified have been completed (moved IAT sensor from air box to intake manifold and added a "tee" to the intercooler so that it could be filled (took nearly a gallon of coolant, that can't be good...))
Now he is saying my meth isn't working, I asked if the test/operation light was working. He said he wasn't sure as someone else worked on that. We checked it out and he asked that I put my hand on the intake at the injector to feel if it was spraying while he hit the test button. I didn't feel anything, but I'm not sure that it should be spraying with the engine not running, he stated "what's the point of a test button if it doesn't spray? I see his point, but I'm unfamiliar.
I have seen the light come on when I got on it in the past. I read the manual and it says that it will come on at 4lbs of boost, but I don't know how to tell if it is spraying. They haven't torn into it yet and I'm hoping I can come up with something before they dig into the rats nest of wiring, and it's a lot, with the line lock and the launch control...
They said they can run air through the system and that should activate the pump, so they will try the easiest things first.
It is an alkycontrol system using the washer fluid reservoir as the... meth reservoir, and I topped it off before I took it to the track just in case the low washer fluid light didn't work.

Maybe it's cause I'm a redneck, but Methanol was not my first thought here.

Hope it all gets worked out. Should be raw. I can't wait to see the 1/4 times.

I had a CTS-V (stock), and that's a nice list of mods there. What a monster though, that thing sounds so sick with the cam.

The car was quite a performer stock, and having one like that would be nuts. Good to see you got the diff and axles taken care of, other than that and the motor mounts everything else is basically destruction-proof.

That's a 4L60E trans right? Kind of a bummer to take out the manual, but I can understand why someone would do that with that setup.

It does have one.

It does have aftermarket motor mounts as well, and hell no! It's still a 6spd manual! (That's one of the few requirements when I purchase a car) Pistol grip shifter with the line lock button on top!

They figured out the meth issue, vacuum hose was off, I'm glad it was something simple. Now on to find out why it's only pushing 5.5lbs of boost (they didn't look at the back of the motor yet).

What's the RPM stage V mean then? Is that a trans rebuild, or is that a clutch?

I get bored of cars easily, this was just a toy as most are. I never planned to keep it. But I have had it more than 3 months.

I would love a C4 (92 and later, because I want the LT1), But right now I think I will liquidate. The neighborhood has become to ghetto and I want out.
