Hello guys

I've finally made enough money to do something new to my car :naughty:

First, I thought a strut bar is a really good choice!
Then I had this crazy idea about having a custom audio box in the trunk (Color matched fiber glass with screen).
Then I got this REALLY crazy idea! Real Carbon Fiber rear diffuser.. :chuckle:

The strut bar will cost about 1/2 the price of the other two (including shipping fees).. The custom box and CF diffuser both cost the same, $650.

I'm still not sure what I should get, but most probably I'll go with the strut bar and the CF diffuser if I could get the price down a little.

The prices are high because a professional company is going to do the work, the basically build this kind of stuff

I also welcome Audio box designs! ;) (The guy who makes the designs used to work for Rockford)

Diffuser is mostly for looks....strut bar may or may not be noticeable. Audio is something you will notice daily.

umm... I already have a sound system, but it's a rectangular box.. and it's huge, I couldn't put my OEM springs in there!
The custom box will also make some room back there

If you have 10" subs, then just get this custom box. I have it, it's perfect. In my opinion, fiberglass boxes are a waste of money.

It is NOT perfect. It is a great box, but if I had the chance to go back I would not have purchased it but rather built it on my own.

Thanks! I would have been disappointed if I got it and found out it's not as I pictured it in my head.. It was also nice seeing other people's setups! :)

Why don't you guys like fiber glass?

OK, to be specific, audio upgrades to make more back seat room and hopefully work better than the existing rectangular box.

well, ya. I also want the woofers to look good! Not just two speakers in a black box that's filling the trunk :tisk:

I read that the rear diffuser cannot be removed from the bumper, is that true?! There are no clips?

You could check out the sweet corner box I just made! It would be really cool to have one in each corner and they really sounds great too.

Thanks guys, I just talked to the shop, and he said he wanted to keep the car for a few days to get the alignment (even though we agreed to keep the car in the shop for 8 hours to get the alignment). Sadly I can't keep the car for more than one day @ his shop. So I'm no longer doing the Audio box, or until I find another shop.

I guess it's time for someone to try the Stillen front lip + Splitter combo right?

I built mine using the zen design. Total cost of project was under $30 (USD). Not sure if in Dubai they have home depots or lowes but all you need is the following things:

3/4" MDF
construction adhesive
crown stapler or screws
card board for template
automotive carpet.

All you need to do is build 2 boxes for the subs and the front panel where the subs would be mounted get screwed onto the boxes. That's it..

Where's my credit for the sweet measurements I took for you?

I'll try to make my own box, but I bet it will look bad..
