.. and bought me a truck. :gapteeth:

It's a '99 Ford F250 Longbed with 220k on it. The engine has zero blow-by gas. Powerstroke diesel 7.3, nom nom nom...

It was raining a little when I took the shots, notice my daily beater behind the truck:

Yeah you are right I only have 250 hp, but I also have 500 ft lb of torque! :chuckle:

BTW nice truck, Tundra always looked nice. Just not so friendly on wallet.

My buddy hooked his cummins up to a dumpster (full) we had to move to put some old coolant drums behind, and his truck pulled the dumpster IDLING in drive.

Tell that to anybody who asks what torque is lol

I want a diesel so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gah they are nice. Seriously, with my prejudice against Ford set aside, that is a really nice truck. Congrats

Congrats on the new truck!
I just beg of you to actually USE the truck for it's intended purpose (towing, hauling, etc.) and not be the typical doucher f***-face who drives a giant a** diesel as a DD.

I've only got 400 ft lbs but the 10,000 towing capacity is more than enough to haul my Z cars

the TRD supercharger which is covered by the new car warranty brings the hp up to 505 hp, and you can get the 5.7 V8 in the 2 wheel drive standard cab which will run a 12 flat int he quarter with a full warranty

We're hauling a trailer right now (on vacation) with an 05 Tundra... Great truck, but if you're gonna haul, get diesel. Good choice ;) My cousin has one...

Pretty fast for big weigh and rwd, but not very useful. :chuckle:

As of now I can tow around 13,500

From what I can do is 4" exhaust, cooler intake, and a boost controller with EGT feedback. This will jump my power up and response quite a bit. But, the truck is too new to me, I need it to chug around and hopefully it will speak to me soon. I am going to need new tires, and I am going to have to collect new ball joints and bearings for replacement. The rest is preventive maintenance.

Stock is how she rolls. Matter fact.. the only thing I want to buy right now is a hood deflector. :gapteeth:

By 4" exhaust, do you mean downpipe too? I'm getting a 3" dp for my 96 PSD cus I hear it's a b**** to make room in the firewall for a 4". Mind sharing how much you paid? I bought mine with 222k miles, it's an xlt, 4x4 for $3200. I wanted a black 99 just like yours to match my black z :( wish I had an intercooler...

My soon-to-be brother-in-law has a huge F250 with a chipped turbo diesel and 7" exhaust... I think he said it was over 1000ft-lbs.

I father owns a Lariat F250 crew cab long bed. I drove it a few times. He modded the exhaust, intake, chipped turbo, and a aftermarket compressor blade. All I know is that the response of the engine is incredible. I had a good dose of it's response on the highway, I noticed a car merging on the highway and I was to the left of a semi. I stepped on the gas to let the semi in my place and the whole truck immediately jumped forward. And me likey. As of now my father makes on highway 26 miles a gallon on his pickup, I aim to match that.
