How about your battery cables?
Did you test the individual battery cells?
Did you ever measure the voltage drop across the battery with the starter engaged?
Did you ever measure the fuel pump pressure?
Did you ever test for spark on each cylinder?
Did you check for a dirty or clogged air filter?

Thanks for your reply. I took to dealer and they heard it, but when they got into the shop, it wouldnt do it again, so we took it home and started fine for a few months. Now it is doing it again! Dealer today said I need starter but I dont understand how it "fixed" itself last time if it is not a loose connection or something.

Check the voltage at the battery when you are trying to start the car and see what the alternator is pushing when cranking. Check voltage and such of the battery as well.
