Also not able to finish AT check, I have a spare TPS and the kick down switch is working as well as the tcu because I installed a 94 TCU and seems better but still there are problems.
Also at about 20 MPH when I floor it it doesn't kick down and BTW I replaced the maf and the maf seems good.
I've seen my SLIP light come on while shifting into reverse, but only if I haven't turned off TCS. I've always figured that it was just the system's sensitivity and it perceived wheel slip. It doesn't happen all the time though.
Would it kick down at 20 MPH? I don't have my 90-93 FSM with me right now (in the trunk) but I don't recall the AT being out of first at 20 MPH. Then again, I drive hard and don't let up until I reach 60.
How come you can't finish the AT check? It's not showing a code at all?
