Slight Stall attempt on cold start

Hey everyone, first time posting. I have a 97 pathy 4x4 with about 214k miles. On cold starts in the morning on my way to work, my rpm's drop to about 500 for about 5 seconds then jump back up to normal. I wanted to see if anyone could help me out with this issue before it possibly gets worse.

What oil and filter are you running? Does this happen on warm starts at all?

It doesn't happen on warm starts. I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic with a Purolator filter.
