These are two different cars but look around. They are parked in the same spot.

Jeremy Boddy called; he wants his scam back.
Next Level even offered one guy to import an R34 GT-R into California, and register it in California.themadscientist wrote:Exactly how is it "Federally legal; USA compliant, DOT and EPA approved" when it isn't even in the states?
The best, least expensive way is to wait. If you can't wait, you have to pay.the a3k wrote:i hate scammers. i just want a damn legal r33
US Spec's did actually import a couple cars. The guy there used to work for JK. JK did the inital work for Motorex, but never actually certified a car until after Motorex went away.turbotank wrote:and also motorex is not the only company that has imported federally legal skylines.. US Specs is the registered importer who imported my car and i have all NHTSA bond release papers and have even contacted them with my vin jst for verification,,, there is also a couple other companies that have imported a few federally legal skylines but they were all before all the comotion in 06 i think it was
If you don't want to do the explanation, just say it came though Motorex. In a round about way, it did. US Specs would have never done it, unless Motorex did it first. US Spec didn't do their own crash testing, they used Motorex's data though JK.turbotank wrote:nice pics man haha thats some exclusive s***
yeah definantly hard to explain to most people i get people telling me all the time that since my car isnt motorexed its not legal and once it gets to that point of the conversation i just tell them to do there own research because im not trying to explain this whole story to you lol.
to be honest i was a little sceptical at first when i got mine from us specs untill i looed further into it and verified the vin through nhtsa and saw the paperwork then i was golden and super pumped!
I have something I am working on now. Gathering some papersworks now. Two ss's, cause its papers.AZhitman wrote:The more I think about it, the more I think I'd just hate the hassles... As much as I'd like to have an R32, I simply couldn't deal with all the pinheads telling ME everything they think they know about my car... Ugh.
Not trying to be too big of a d!ck, but what does "or join the military" have to do with anything. You use it as the opposite to "good work ethic and proper education they too can earn enough money to purchase one". I'm in the military, and I bought an R33 GTR in cash. I have plenty of buddies here that paid in full on S15s, Supras, etc. just seems a little miplaced, considering there are several members here that are military.edthemanjp wrote:Listen, if you own what only a few have and think that people are intrusive to make their comments about your car and do not want a lot of gawking or queston asking, sell the car. Some people have stupid questions but you dont have to be a jerk back, let them know thats not something you would do to your car and why. The only way to push out ignorance is by educating. Don't be a jerk to people or especially the youngsters who are envious of you. Encourage them and teach them that with a good work ethic and proper education they too can earn enough money to purchase one of their own, or join the military.
Thanks Mad, exactly. GF1 I'm retired military so your statement is correct, lots of military here.themadscientist wrote:He means joining to get stationed overseas so you can have one, at least for a little while.
