I picked up some Eibach Pro Kit springs on ebay super cheap over the weekend so I plan on getting those installed & going to do the struts/springs while I'm at it. Gettin close to 60k and don't want to have to do them later on...

will KYB's do fine? You can pick up all the parts for 200$

hows this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories

KYB makes OEM parts also, so they are good quality.

Found this:http://www.usautoparts.net/cat...&cj=1

They also offer free shipping for orders over $50. Not sure of the total when you add in all 4 pieces, but it was worth a try.

Yeah, anywhere you order them it seems to be within about 10$ of each other for all the parts...KYB that is.

So these will be fine even tho the car is 'lowered'? I don't really see any option of shocks for lowered versas, other than what looks like some on versaspeed for 400$

Those are just OEM replacements, so any extra stress from lowering springs will be the same regardless of the KYB or OEM units. I haven't read anything negative about struts prematurely wearing out because of lowering springs. I have only seen recommendations that you have your alignment checked after you install the springs.

from what i've read pertaining to other cars, lowering springs on stock/OEM shocks/struts cause premature failure, like not very far down the road...if this is true i won't even mess with springs lol

There is no way I would do springs without a good set of struts.

I got mine at versaspeed. VERY happy with the end-result.

from my experience, lower a V with stock struts is fine. i have had my tanabe springs for 2 years (next month that is) and they still feel fine, but i do know that they will eventually fail.

the struts you posted a link would be a little better, here is some for cheaper.http://motors.shop.ebay.com/ju...cat=0

If he is looking for struts in the OEM flavor... He can have mine.

They have less than 3000 miles on them, 100bucks. pay shipping.

Dont have any problems with the Tanabe springs installed with the OEM struts. Eventually I will replace the struts with the Tokico non-adjustable shocks so my ride can handle even better.

I am running TOKICO's HP Series. Yep I dropped the 400bones.

I do see tons of folks do just springs. I have even done several spring set installs for friends .....However in my typical mod fashion, I always do both(or coil-overs)
