Bought my AE in 2008 with 65k, and after 7 nice years it's time to give her up. This car has been my daily driver to this day since I bought it, and over the last couple years several problems have begun to add up.
- Several severe rust spots
- Rust in muffler that was welded once, but has since opened up again resulting in a loud exhaust
- Front end noise just recently started when turning the steering wheel sharply
- Seems like it's not running on all 8 cylinders
No major body damage other than the rust, and the interior, though in need of a good cleaning is still in very nice shape.
Obviously, the car is worth little at this point. I would spend the money and just fix the muffler and front end to keep driving it another year, but I don't want to go another Michigan winter with RWD.
Any offers or advice?
