I was wondering if the seats from the 1991-1993 models are interchangeable with the 1994+ models? Also, are there any manual ways to move the seat without power?

The 1994-1996 Q45 seats are controlled differently from 1990-1993 versions. I am sure you can remove the leather and apply it to the 1994 Q45 frame, maybe. the 1994 Q45 uses a larger seat, For bigger Americans.

The seats won't move without power as far as I know (AFAIK).

The reason why I am asking is that I found some mind condition seats in the salvage yard for a 1991 Q45. They look like they have been recently redone. However, one of the bolts that holds in the seat is covered up by the frame rail.

Bring a jump pack and pull the seats if the yard is not in the business of pulling copper (wiring) from the cars as they come in. I would take some measurements of your seats and the ones in the junkyard to be sure they will fit.

In my opinion your better off redoing the seats in your car because it will look funny otherwise.

I am almost completely positive the seats are directly interchangeable as far as the rails go. I have seen numerous 90-93 on craigslist and auction sites with that of the 94-96 seats. Yes it does look awkward unless you have the colors matched. Electronics I have no clue. I do recall someone adding OEM heated seats to seats from a 91 and swapping into a 94

personally I'd like some Acura RSX seats - they are very sporty and light, plus they're leather.

I love the Saturn Ion Redline Recaro seats. However, those may be hard to find!

Do some junk yard shopping, you'll run across some good ones
