SCAMMER ALERT!

SCAMMER ALERT!

Postby krimsonviper » Fri Apr 02, 2010 7:27 pm

On some of the Mazda forums I frequent, there was a guy who's selling badges called "Krypto Badges."

The douches first name is Corey/Cory/Kory, his last name is Zak and 3 of his alias' on forums are KEP,BoostThat3, KryptoEmblems.

He's from Davie, Florida and his thievery started here:
http://www.mazda3forums.com/in...805.0 Last response from "KrytoEmblems" was Dec. 01, 2009 "Boostthat3" Oct. 03, 2009 last Response date.
Boostthat3 wrote:I have nothing else to say to you other than your emblems will be there soon if you haven't received them already. Otherwise, there is nothing I OR USPS can do to trace or track your package since it was already shipped w/o any kind of tracking.

And spread to 2 other forums:
http://www.gencoupe.com/off-to....html Nov. 2009

http://mazda3revolution.com/fo....html - His most recent 2010 heist.

I bring this to the attention of NICO because I don't want this POS to steal money from my fellow NICOnites. If you have any information regarding him, please let me know so I can at least get word out to my Mazda bretheren as well. I would have let NICO know sooner, but I just figured out that he's scamming others outside of M3F.com

This is his vehicle from 2006. He may, or may not be driving it still, and it's looks have probably changed.

POST FROM FORDFUSIONCLUB
kryptoemblems wrote:I'm embarrassed, depressed, sad, mad, etc etc.

Let me start from the beginning... Everything was going fine a few months ago (as I thought) - until I received a parking ticket. Time went on and eventually forgot about the parking ticket. I'm sure you know what that means - late fees and court dates. The fees and court dates pass by (some how missed the blue letter in the mail). Then I received a letter that I had a warrant out for my arrest, which I saw in the mail - big red flag. Also, my license was suspended. SO, I went to the courthouse to fill out a defendant form to remove the warrant and just pay any late fees along with the tickets. Ended up paying $500 for the warrant, $70 to reinstate my license, $300+ for the tickets. The list goes on. While all of this mess was going on I've missed my car, insurance, and phone payments. License got suspended AGAIN after a couple weeks apparently because there were more late fees that were looked over by the courthouse representative. Not really my fault, I know... So I was driving home from the courthouse after paying more late fees etc etc (while my license was suspended). It's dark out (about 6:30pm). I'm driving as careful as possible. I notice a car behind me and instantly recognize that it's a police officer. He was on my tail, so I put my blinker on and switched lanes. He then instantly merged to my lane. What do you know? Yep... Pulls me over (with no license). Knowing that my car can soon be repo'd and my insurance is canceled - I tell him I left me insurance with my registration at home because I was dealing with this whole situation. So I asked why I was pulled over... You know what he said? YEP! MY %$#@ing LICENSE PLATE LIGHT WAS OUT! :pissed: So here I am with two license suspensions that I'm dealing with and paying $500+ for my attorney to go to court for me and handle the case. This all seems like it happened so fast! Paying all these court fees, costs, tickets, etc etc.. has set me back so far that I didn't even realize it! The bank decides they want to repossess my car because of late payment (either that or they request $1000 by today - No way that's happening). On top of everything - my business as a vendor here has been not so good lately - I'm sure you can see why. Since my customer service and shipping times have been not so good, I've had potential customers turn to other options.

Right now I've dealt with:
- Repo'd car
- Lost insurance
- High phone bill
- Court costs
- Attorney costs
- Tumbling business

Now, what I'm posting here is for advice... Advice to help save my business here and my sponsorship here on Mazda3Forums. I've been on here since 2005 with you guys and would hate to see me banned for a situation that I cannot control. I don't want to sit here and give excuse after excuse. That's what it seems like it has been because just so many things have been happening to me lately.

Where I'm at now:
- No more car payments
- Paying off credit card
- Paying phone bill
- Getting outstanding customers emblems shipped for my business

I think I'm on a good track now since I don't have my car or insurance anymore that I do not have to pay for. The only expense I have at the moment is attorney costs and phone bill. However, my phone bill is high for missing the payments on those too. Anyway, I'm paying the attorney, paying off my credit card.

Any advice or help would be highly appreciated as I'm trying my best to get the business back on the road with good rep. Thanks in advanced to whoever has any helpful information.

Best Regards,
Corey

No. Greg's info can probably be more recent, that stuff is a few years old and I don't have all of his info. I'm hoping Greg see's this and has time for it, but he's probably busy with the switch.

Nice work, KV - Keep it up.

If everyone was this diligent, we could drastically cut into the scammer population.

I wish that were true but scammers are like trolls, the only way to stop them is to stop every form of anonymous communication.

Mmmmm. cut into the scammer population. you mean like cut them? right? with a knife? and make them bleed back all the money they've scammed?

Ok. Serious time. Scammers get me riled up. And good job pointing this one out before he made his way here. A scammer is a scammer no matter where or on what site they do their scamming. Can't we just go back to the good old days when the bad people were burned at the stake? eh?

Do you post every thought that just pops into your head?

What value are you adding to this thread?

I don't have 52K posts and summer is coming around so I won't be on NICO as much. Why are you so mad?

Your point? Is that supposed to be a smartass comment?

Paul Wall wrote: and summer is coming around so I won't be on NICO as much.
What does that have to do with my question?

Paul Wall wrote:Why are you so mad?
I'm FAR from mad.

Again, I ask: What value are you adding to this thread, besides trying to down on everyone's efforts?

You have more posts than me and I am on NICO a lot. To be fair you have been a member since 2002 but still 52K posts...Clearly you post whats on your mind.

I am just saying that I won't post much. And I tend to post more useful/helpful things....

I am not trying to be negative just stating the truth.

What is this person contributing?:

I will be fair in saying NICO has helped a lot but its the members that make the forum. The people from the Q45 section be some of the best.
