Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and am starting up a build thread for my recently acquired 1990 240sx Coupe shell. Found a super clean shell on Craigslist and had to jump on it. It's an original 5-speed car and, aside from the clear coat, is super clean. I ordered the motor today (unfortunately living in f*** New Mexico isn't the most facilitating thing to getting skyline motors).
Here's a list of the current plan:
Drivetrain/Motor:
RB25DET NEO6
5 speed trans
LSD
Custom RB25 driveshaft
McKinney Blue RB25 swap mounts
FMIC- Obtained from previous owner
HKS SSQV BOV - Also obtained from previous owner. May be a b**** since it's for a STI, but for $80 I couldn't turn it down.
McKinney SS Downpipe
Custom 3" Straight Pipe
Still trying to figure out suspension, body, and interior parts but that will come in time. More worried about getting this baby running. Anyways, here's a few pics as she sits now.
*Note I pulled out the back and passenger seats already.
