Hi, i just bought a 06 g35, i was playing with the radio modes and it says sat 1, and sat 2, does this mean there is satellite in it already, or does it mean its already wired for it? also one more stupid question, i was wondering if it had a mode on it that would tell you how many more miles you would get out of your gas? i cant seem to find it, well any info would be great, thanks all!

The SAT1 and SAT2 modes give you two sets of 6 station presets for Satellite Radio. You also have FM1 & FM2 as well as AM Radio. That will give you a total 30 preset stations. 12 for FM, 12 for Satellite Radio and 6 for AM Radio.

If the vehicle has Sirius built in try tuning to channel 000 which will display & give you the radio ID. You'll need that if you wish to subscribe. Tune to channel 184 & you should hear the preview channel. My favorite channel is Channel 100 for Howard Stern, Ba Ba Booey, Gary & Wendy the retard, Sal, Richard, Robin Quivers, and a great collection of strippers etc

Usually if you don't have it, it doesn't show Sat 1, Sat 2. Easy way to find out, go to your trunk, take out the carpet, spare, and use the wrench next to the jack to unscrew the screw holding down the plastic on the left. A box there means you have it.

Hmmm. I would think that if you visited your nearest Infiniti dealer & gave them the VIN number of your vehicle, they should be able to tell you what options were in that vehicle when it was delivered to the original owner? If the radio was not removed and is defective you may be able to obtain a replacement under warranty?
