The Nissan carwings is an intellige system loaded with lots of goodies that makes motoring fun. Unfortunately, away from its intended area of operation I.e Japan, it has limited usage. Other than the navigation asystem, all the other apps should be up and running. The greatest challenge to users of the system is the language barrier since the little buttons and the screen are in Japanese. Sadly, the language can not be changed and although I have heared claims of a cd that overwrites the software and installs English, I am yet to see one.
Your option? Learn Japanese or follow simple instructions that will help you set up the radio to your liking. So, despite what the screen says, you can enjoy hands free driving, monitor fuel consumption, adjust the clock etc.
