Ok, so ive read tons and tons of forums before i decided to post my problem and have had zero luck... I have a 95 240sx with a s14 sr20det swap, my last sr20 blew up so i bought another one and recently just put it in...it cranks but doesn't start, ive looked at about everything, it has great spark on all four plugs, its getting fuel in all 4 cylinders, it has compression on all four cylinders, i replaced the battery, fuel injectors, fuel rail, fpr, tps, cleaned the maf sensor and unplugged it to see if it would start without it plugged in, tried different spark plugs, switched out all four coil packs, switched out the spark plug harness, tried about every angle on the CAS...ive looked over and over at the engine and made sure everything is hooked up where it is supposed to be and there are no cut vacuum lines or anything, i tried the ecu that came with it and the ecu that i already had...i can hear the fuel pump kick on when i turn the key and it has great pressure...i have had 5 different people, that know a great deal about cars, look at it and none of us can figure this out.... i am out of ideas guys and am trying to keep from breaking down and taking it to the shop! any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

I didn't need to install the CAS, it was already on it when i received it...is it possible that it was shipped to me installed wrong??

It is possible that the timing is completely off but i dont know how to adjust the timing on this engine...i only know how to time distributor engines, how do you check it? and is it possible that one of my sensors could be bad? if so, what sensors would keep it from starting?

If you get fuel, spark, compression, there are only 2 things it can be- Timing, or the incorrect amount of fuel.

I did an external check, but as far as pulling off the valve cover and looking at it i dont really kno what im looking for...i usually mess with old v8's, this distributorless stuff kills me

You'll need a fuel pressure checker/gauge for the fuel pressure check. Put it after the fuel filter, before the injectors.

Timing... I don't really know, I've never worked on one of them.

ok thanks...so there isn't a bad sensor that would stop it from turning over other than the CAS?

Any resolution to this? My friend is having a similar issue and we spent so many hours on it with no luck.

This happened to me....it may sound kinda dumb, but check the o rings in the injectors and make sure your not flooding it....my orings were shot and thats why it wouldnt start...we noticed it when we had all of the spark plugs out and cylinder 2 and 3 were pushing a whole lot of fuel out. Also, I know that on the s13 sr there is a little red plug under the intake mani that is inline with the tps, I don't really know what it is, but I do know that it being unplugged made my car do this same thing.
