i have mine stuffed underneath the radio. it sucks cause that little cubby hole used to hold alot of my CDs and junk, but you gotta do what you gotta do. plus i think it looks alot nicer with some gauges there instead of junk.

Made it out of a square of carbon fiber, looks pretty cool I think. Guages have been replaced with autometer oil temp, pressure. Dont want anyone thinking I paid for a narrowband O2.

Virus: is it difficult to drill/cut through CF to put those gauges in? also did you mix the resin and make that small sheet of CF by yourself or can you buy a small section like that already hardened?

I bought the carbon square from ebay. I outlined the shape of the console and cut it out with dremel tool and routing attachment. Then used a circle cutter attachment for the guages. Not to hard if you have a dremel or similiar tool.

I would put them in a-pillar gauge pods. Some people don't like them because you may need to tiltyour head at an odd angle to read them, but I never had a problem reading gauges driving a supercharged DSM over the summer.

I'm not a trator just I can' afford a 240 right now, college student >.< and the DSM wasn't mine

Dose any one have a pic of the gauges mounted on the dash... you know over the vents and all.

I know its risky to pop a few holes in the top of your dash, but in my 400HP 240Z I sure dont like looking down low for fuel psi and what not.

Some of you guys have some pretty sweet gauges.

All I did was chop up a little bit of the cubby hole and toss in my non-functioning boost gauge(I'm gonna be a ricer for a week). As long as it doesn't move around in there, I could care less what it looks like.

Thanks, it looks pretty cool in person. I cut it to the shape of the center console and attached it to the metal frame that holds the stereo, but the fit was so tight that it stays in on its own. The gauges are pressed in, I just made the holes 1-2mm smaller and forced it in. The eo-1 I was going to build in aswell but for ease of detachment and storing I just velcroed (sp?) it on. Im gonna modify it to put my turbo timer in their soon.

ebay, search for carbon sheet. Just dont buy any sticker or something, get the real carbon fiber sheets, 12" x 12" usually.

I once saw an S14 at a car show with an aftermarket bezel for the stock gauge cluster that had a spot at each corner of the gauge cluster for a 60mm gauge. I have yet to see one for sale, but I thought it was one of the best locations for gauges.
