Just curious if anyone has swaped the Dash/center consol/door panels from an S14 into their S13? I don't see why it would be that hard, as long as the dash is the same width and the door panels swapped over. Was thinking of trying it.....Anyone with an S14 willing to measure the dash width for me?

Hmm, looks good. Also looks like the dash will fit. Not the only question is whether or not the door panels will fit the S13 Doors.....

I found a picture of an S14 Door with no panel on it. I don't think the door itself would fit, but I think if I cut the support on the inside, and welded it in on the S13 door, I could get the panels to fit. I want to try it, but to buy everything seperate would be big $$$. I think I am just gonna keep a look out for a screwed up S14 with the full interior, lol. Maybe pick it up for a few hundred.

Man, this thread is back from the dead! I haven't got around to do this yet, because I've been working on the motor stuff. It's still in the future agenda though! ha ha

I think I remember someone doing the conversion back in the day and for some reason there was a 1 inch gap between the dask and door panels. I plan on doing it one day.

That's the dash but not the door panels in both the pics.

I'm not for sure if the door panels would line up in the car. They are pretty bulky. Now, the dash for sure. But it probably weighs more.

^^ya man, i think the s13 interior is good enough for a pretty old car. why dont you just wrap it in some good material if you want to change things up a bit. ive seen a 240z with a black leather wrapped dash that looked amazing.

i just finished doing the s14 dash conversion to my 93 coupe. and your gonna need a doner car to get the dash in. im gnna be doing doorpanels today but my 97 kouki got hit in the rear by a tow truck so i decided to swap the whole interior to my 93 coupe. your gonna need to drill the spot welds on the steering column support on both cars remove all the stuff from the s13. then you have to trim the front of the dash on the s14 to get it to sit as close as you can to the firewall. were the dash bolts to the bracket welded to the trans tunnel is exactly the same as the one on the s13 chassis so use that as your refrence point to make everything else stright and on the left side of the dash bar thats bolted into the chassis to support the dash the top left bolt on the left side bolts into the top left hole where the s13 dash bar bolted into. but the other 3 you have to drill and tap holes to bolt it the rest of the way in. also your gonna have to weld extension tabs to get the steering column support to line up right. it took me one day to do the swap. and i also swapped over the entire s14 chassis harness to update my wairing to obd2 also i swapped my rb25 into my s13 so i didnt have to do much wiring. carpet fit pretty good and to put the seats in you just bolt them in. center console the only thing you have to do is use 2 screw style bolts from the s13 original dash and just make and drill holes and bolt the bracket to the trans tunnel and it fits pretty good. ill post pics as soon as door panels are on

not really hard... about an 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. need to kno how to weld. but mostly its just getting all the parts really. like i only did mine cause my kouki got rear ended by a tow truck so i had everything.

Much easier said than done doing this swap.

Dash n/p just about bolts in but door panels need much cutting and fabrication to fit them properly. So much cutting that re-upholstering the door panel is necessary unless its a "drift machine". I cut the dash because the panels hit the sides of the dash before the doors even come close to closing. Ill be wrapping the door panels and dash in a high quality vinyl with a red double stitch.

I have an s14 dash and gauge cluster in my s13 coupe. Comes just shy of the doors by about an I have and a half on both sides...good spot for a cage to fit...
