the black lines refers to the chasis , the black wires can be connected to any chassis point and or the neg battery side of battery

Hm, what about the relay? Or the fuse? Would I have to make my own box for it? Oh and I dont have the stock radiator. I'll have to look. My battery is in my trunk lol so I'll have to run wires all crazy.

you should be able to fit both the relay and fuse in the relay box already in the engine bay, and you should have a a point by the engine where your positive wires all mount before they run back to the bat. so you can hook in there.

just run a cable from the relay box off something like the ac , no if you dont have use ac , you can remove that relay and actually use that with some blade connectors that you can get in any parts store or in radio shack , about the thermo switch , the s13 came with it stock mounted on the lower radiator hose , is like a pipe that goes in between the lower rad hose and has a sensor with 2 wires running off it . i recommend sourcing a used one because these can get very expensive in auto parts , last time i ask they run around 180

its the tfs 141 it kicks in at 80 C

or you can buy the thermo switch new and fit it with this it cost $20 so i think its worth the BLING

or if you got the koyo rad you can choose a different thermo and fit it in the place of the radiator drain plug

Hmm..I recall posting something similar up in a fan thread a few weeks ago

It was definitely a lot plainer looking. It took 5 minutes in MS Paint to make!

just had a question regarding the diagram at the top of this page... instead of the s13 lower rad thermo switch, could this be an on/off switch inside my car? just curious because i cant seem to find a decent diagram to go off of for setting up a switch inside of my car that turns the fan on or off when i want it.
thanks for the help, and sorry i couldn't figure out how to quote said diagram in this post.

I like this idea! So I buy it, put it half way the lower radiator hose, buy the thermo switch n connect my electric fans and thats it? Also my 92 coupe doesnt have a thermo switch on my lower hose.
