I have stumbled across something that I'm sure Universal Studios doesn't want spilled. The Fast and Furious 5 received a shipment from japan on Dec. 21 2010 at Jacksonville Fl. One of the cars is a 1971 GTR 2.0 L Black is what the bill of landings says. I shake my fist at you Paul walker

I can confirm. Not saying anyone in particular made that suggestion, but if he had a screen name..it might be tyndago.

They were looking for a cool, old school ride, and I made a few suggestions - 240z, 510, RX3, Hakosuka. They picked the Hakosuka.

That's kind of like admitting you scout little girls for kiddie p0rn. The F&F franchise and the disjointed popular culture it breeds is a pox to be cleansed not nurtured.

$$$$. From them I get money.

They are not a bad thing. Bring people into the life, bring peoples interests in cars. Cars are my business, and anything that can bring people in, is a positive thing.

Besides, a 71 isn't a problem. It doesn't take a celebrity to import a Hakosuka.

In other words, it's not news.

It's not a life, it's a car. The whole idea that the vehicle you own or the manner in which you use it defines your life is a bizarre concept.

F&F is cotton candy for souless spoiled kids and it's sweetened with Saccharin. It attracts more clueless fanbois that f*** up the interest than it does productive enthusiasts. Owners groups IMO are a better avenue.

Do what you gotta do to make those ends meet, I don't fault you that.

I agree it doesnt take a celebrity to import a Hakosuka but the fact its in the new movie is news. Fact is it takes alot of money to own a real GTR Hakosuka and a celebrity has a better chance than most.
