rota rb's on 280z

im planning on putting rota rb's on my 1978 280z and i want to have a wide wheels for it so i want the 17x8.5 in the front and the 17x9.5 rears..i have the tokico hp struts with the eibach springs lowering it 1 inch and i have the arizona z car wilwood brakes...my main question is what are the main things that i need to do to have these fit or would they just bolt right in..also what size spacers would i need to run if any..thanks

you didn't give the right information to answer the questions you asked, first of all bolt circle, you need 4x4.5" aka 4 x 114.3 , second offset, if you want wide 8.5 and 9" wide wheels, ditch the eibachs and get coil overs, this gives you about 1 more inche of backspace allower for more wheel to tuck under, and even with coil overs 8.5 and 9" wheels in the correct offset will need the fenders cut out and flares added, with coil overs you can fit a zero offset 8" wide wheel with no fender contact, might need a touch of rolling but not much, again thats with coil overs, to get the 8.5 and 9 " wheels you'll need zg flares or similar and the wheels will need to be about a -15 to a -25 offset, and keep in mind when dealign wiht negetive offset wheels you increase scrub radius whihc makes steering taht much harder, as does the increases tire width, but the increase scrub radius on the frotns can cause forweard and rear of the hweel arch contact issues so additional trimming may be necesarry

id either get the 8.5 for the fronts or the 9's for the fronts and 9.5 for the rears..the offset for the 8.5's you have the choice of getting +20 or +4..and the offset for the 9's are -13 while for the 9.5's its -19..also i was planning on putting some zg flares on their too...and what kind off coilovers would you recommend i run because this is only gonna be a street car no race or anything like that..and last question what is scrub radius

i know i was going to buy a 240 but i found a better deal on the 280..and it does run and shift smooth with 0 body rust or rail rust

why what do coilovers do..and its not gonna be a race car its just gonna be my street car

coil overs are a smaller diamter and give you an extra inch of clearance on the inboard side, these wheels will rub your eibachs

and nto being a race car you won't need such wide wheels, some 15x7's in a zero offset will clear the stock springs or whatever aftermarkets

ohh i really like the beefy look of those 9's and 9.5's..do yu know any cheap but decent brnads that sell coilovers for the Z

ground control, the problem is it requires a bit of cutting and welding, especially if you want to run shorter inserts to increase range of motion, read the link in my sig for my s30, there should be a link in there for the coil over conversion

I run this setup on my Z now.. 17x9s -13 up front and 17x9.5s -19 out back.. Evildky is correct on choosing your tires carefully.. especially up front. I am running 245-45s up front and 275 40s out back and the extra bite really helps me a lot! I took her to the dragon recently for the ZdayZ event. The car handles twisties really well . I do have Tokico springs and struts( non adjustable blues). Poly bushings and upgraded sway bars. Keep in mind Up front some people have ran 255-40's but I have seen that they can rub on the sway bar. Also if you have any kind of aftermarket front airdam.. the tire will most likely come in contact with it and trimming will be needed. ZG flares are not for the faint at heart. It took me about 12 hours working time to do them.. The rears are the pains! The end result though.. oh man I love the way it looks.. Here are a couple of pics of mine..
