I was going to put seat covers on our Rogue's front seats, but was cautioned by the dealer to be careful doing that, because the seats contain air bags and the seat covers can restrict the inflation of the air bags if in an accident.

I haven't seen any seat covers made specifically for vehicles with seat mounted air bags, has anyone else?

In any case, please be careful if you are thinking of using seat covers on your Rogue.

I believe all the Rogue's are equipped with side airbags regardless of model or options. Look for a tag on the side of the seat back.

That's an interesting idea, but I'm not too handy with scissors and would probably end up making a mess of the project, so I ended up buying 4 cans of Scotchgard and sprayed the seats and everything else cloth inside the vehicle.

It doesn't appear that there is anything you can purchase just yet that looks decient and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. As Leo2005 pointed out, don't want to spend $125.00 for junk seat covers, the Scotchgard will have to do for now.

I've seen these on VW's and they are super nice quality and fit. I wouldn't be surprised if they are in production now or very soon. Maybe drop them an email? Like the rear cargo liner from weathertech, they had no listing for it so i called them and they had them in stock just not listed on the site.

Nice looking stuff! I can't afford to spend that much right now, but may do a bit of saving and buy a set this summer... thanks for the info!

http://www.shearcomfort.com makes custom seatcovers for rogues & lots of other models too... plus if you get them custom made they will have allowance for side airbags. don't mess around with safety!

i really like the neoprene seatcovers in two-tone, they are super sleek looking.
