Nice! It's going to be nice having a fresh motor.

Are you going to keep it stock, or at least for now?

Hmmm.... Looks to me as though you've got some pretty beefy rebuild parts. Do I see a snail in your motor's future?

You're really using an impact gun on your internal engine parts?

Snails bring good luck and victory, according to the chinese proverb

i love using shop tools than the regular ones. it makes life easy and awesome. i cant imagine how long it would take to remove a bolt with a socket wrench lol

ok i took off that dreaded auto pilot bushing

i drilled it with a circular saw thing

then i chiseled it, while spinning the bearing around. chiseling it causes the bearing to come out slowly

then pull

more to come

thats not the point. On headbolts and other internal parts they need to be removed in a certain order, in certain stages.

+1 for handtools.

I'll sometimes use impact guns to remove main bolts and head bolts. But it's rare for that to happen. Breaker bars ftmfw

Since we got the speed sensor working on Saturday and we washed the car, we went to the park and took pictures.

I think we are going to paint the rims this week, I'm not sure.

Looks good. If you repaint, repaint it the same color and slam it.

yeah, we're going to repaint it the same color. He was planning to do it black but I told him that black is too generic. lol

but that gold isn't shiny and we're finding a way to make it look shiny...

I tried using the removal tool and the tool broke. I ended up having to cut mine out.
